Guide For Authors

Abstract Submission

Abstracts must provide a succinct account of the proposed paper/poster. The abstract must comply with the guidelines outlined below. All abstracts will be blind refereed by the Scientific Committee. Submissions will be judged on the following:

  • Link to the conference themes/topics
  • Overall quality
  • Interest
  • Contribution to scholarship
  • Methodology

Final acceptance is conditional upon registration of presenters by the "Early Bird Registration" deadline on 2nd March 2009.

Abstract Preparation

Please adhere to the required format:

1. All abstracts must be in English.
2. Abstracts should not exceed 300 words (excluding the research title)
3. References should not be included
4. Use Times New Roman style, font size 12 and single spacing.

Abstracts presenting original research should address: context and background, aim of the study, research methodology, key findings and conclusions

Abstracts presenting literature or systematic reviews should address: aim of review, search/review methodology, meta-analysis (if conducted), key findings and conclusions
